Día de los museos

 

Día de los museos, 18 de mayo.

Vaya, lo lamentamos. Un año más se nos pasó la fecha.

Los que nos seguís sabéis que cada semana posteamos un artículo que en muchos casos coincide con la celebración de una cita puntual.

Aunque muchas van a tener que ver con nuestra actividad y nuestro entorno, hay celebraciones que nadie deberíamos olvidar o desconocer. Y el martes fue una de ellas. 

¿Vaya ejemplo verdad? Puesto aquí, el tema es saber de la importancia que éstas cajas de conocimiento, historia y vida nos ofrecen.

En ocasiones el propio recinto es ya en sí museo, siempre su interior y fundamentalmente su sentido.

El hecho es que tal vez, sabedores de que son espacios grandes y pesados tenemos la errónea idea de que en cualquier momento los podremos visitar.

Y curiosamente, tanto más cerca los tienes, menos los frecuentas. Porque esa es la otra, en muchas ocasiones visitar un museo es como poner la Pica en Flandes o en versión moderna la chincheta en el mapa. Una vez has estado, ya es parte de la historia. 

Queremos por tanto significar, "con retraso como debe ser", la importancia de todos los museos y lo importante que es para nuestra cultura, nuestro conocimiento y nuestra capacidad de descubrir a través del trabajo de otros, el mundo donde habitamos.

Wow, we´re sorry. One more year we missed the date. 

Those of you who follow us know that every week we post an article that in many cases coincides with the celebration of a specific appointment.

Althought many have to do with our activity and our environment, there are celebrations that no one should forget or ignore. Tuesday was one of them.

What an example, right? The issue is to know the importance that this knowledge, history and life offer us.

Sometimes the site itself is already a museum, always the inside and fundamentally its meaning.

The fact is that perhaps, knowing that they are large and heavy spaces, we have the wrong idea that at any moment we can visit them.

And curiously, the closer you have them, the less you frequent them. Because here is the fact, in many cases, visiting a museum is like putting a pushpin on the map. Once you've been there, it is already part of the story.

We therefore want to signify, "delayed as it should be", the importance of all museums and how important it is for our culture, our knowledge and our ability to discover through the work of others, the world where we live.
